Aubrey Peeples
Aubrey Peeples has been an American actor and singer for more than 20 years. She has won numerous prizes for her performances in the roles of Layla Grant and Claudia Shepard and Claudia Shepard in Nashville (2012). She played the leading role Jerrica Jem Benton in the movie of 2015 Jem and the Holograms. Aubrey Peeples grew up in Lake Mary Florida by parents Wendy and Ashley. She is the younger sibling of Ally. Aubrey was a performer in the Orlando Repertory Theatre in her teens for a period of about 10 years. Aubrey was a graduate of Lake Mary Preparatory School where she was valedictory speaker of the class of 2012. Harvard University had accepted her. However, they agreed to her admission twice in order to allow her to assume the role in Nashville. Peeples appeared in Drop Dead Diva (2009) Burn Notice (2007) Austin & Ally (2011) Grey's Anatomy (2005) and had regular roles in Necessary Roughness (1991). She was in television movies Ace Ventura Jr. Pet Detective (2009) and The Good Mother. She played a prominent role for the Nashville series in which she played Layla Grant. In the year 2019 Peeples admitted to having bipolar disorder in an interview in NKD Magazine. Indiewire identified Peeples as one of the most talented actors younger than twenty-one in September 2014.
